Test Automation Engineer (Málaga)

Job description

We are looking for Test Automation Engineers to incorporate into our team in Málaga/Alicante.

From our center we perform automation tests for different industries and technology platforms.

Test engineers execute the test plans by reporting to the Test Lead. They have a close relationship with the Test Designers as well as with the Business Analyst.

The context of the project is the Automation of testing on a state-of-the-art cloud platform (aws, Kafka, spring,

envoy, istio) of one of the main British banks for its mobile applications based on Android and IOs with the possibility of working in the city of London or remotely from Our offices in agile teams.

Functions:

SDET is a software engineer: he knows several programming languages, database concepts, participates in product design, data design and user interfaces.

It is also a software tester with the ability to code: SDETs must know how to build and test products that meet user expectations. You have to understand the code on which the product is built. The tests begin right at the unit level up to its functional level with acceptance and product performance tests. An SDET is competent in all these tests. SDETs can automate tests by leveraging their coding skills.

The SDET function: participates in all levels of product design, works together with the Product Manager, the development team and the end user. Understand the needs of a software product as a whole.

Function of QA and Software Tester: guarantees quality during the development phase and works closely with developers to understand the underlying code. On the other hand it prepares test cases and executes them to find errors in a product or software application and ensures high quality software products.
