Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals in Egypt is currently looking for a Trade and Channel Management Manager Egypt to join the business based in Cairo.

About the Job

Abbott is looking for a skilled  Trade and Channel Management Manager to oversee the relationships of Abbott with its most important Key Distributor & Wholesaler accounts and Key Chains. Trade & Channel Management Manager will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term profitable Partnership with those key Accounts by comprehending their requirements.

Core Job Responsibilities

·  Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major distributors / Key Accounts to ensure profitable Long-Term Partnership
·  Identify business opportunities within the respective stakeholders and provide a market intelligence data
·  Analyze & Develop and managing strategic customer alliances and development of long term customer relationship, to achieve key customer satisfaction goals
·  Plan strategically growth with trade Key Accounts
·  Responsible for implementation of a key account plan for customers and achieving business results and sales quotas
·  Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
·  Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
·  Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
·  Serve as the link of communication between key Accounts and internal teams
·  Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
·  Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
·  Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
·  Develop a Trade Customer oriented mindset
·  Adopt a business management approach
·  Develop and manage Customer relationships
·  Create Value with Trade Customers
·  Negotiate successfully the trade terms and agreements with major trade key accounts
·  Manage resources effectively and efficiently 
·  Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel.
·  Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business
·  Creating a Modern Trade plan that incorporates the marketing strategy, in-store and event activation

Job Requirements

·  3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in Channel Management and trade business with a success record in managing Key accounts.
·  Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science/Human or Vet Medicine/General Science
·  Highly proficient in spoken and written English
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
·  Excellent planning Skills.
·  High problem-solving and negotiations ability.
·  Strong analytical skills.
·  Microsoft office applications.
