JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abbott Established Pharmaceutical Division is looking for a

Financial Analyst CAPEX

In Established Pharmaceutical Products division, the Financial Analyst is part of Operational Strategic Excellence group and will act as financial business partner in day-to-day operations at Abbott Products Operations AG (APO). The role will guarantee financial policies implementation in capital area while supporting achievement of organization’s financial goals.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Corporate Capital policies and procedures:

• Process capital requests while ensuring compliance with corporate capital rules.
• Coordinate yearly capital request of ~ 180MM USD
• Be the key point of contact for eRCE system (Capital Expenditure Approval system), maintain authorization matrices and capital help section.

Support delivery of Operational Strategic Excellence (OSE) objectives:

• Secure transparency and efficiency in transaction processes to ensure business can deliver its performance.
• Raise business sponsors’ awareness on financial processes to gain time in execution.
• Lead monthly capital expenditure tracking report and depreciation tracking report
• Support engineering department on building yearly budget, forecast and actual reporting

Contribute to transaction process and capital optimization:

• Implement internal controls to monitor diligent management of transactional activities (review of open capital projects, scope changes etc.).
• Support Director Engineering and Controller Operational Strategic Excellence on ad-hoc request (Status of capital expenditure, capital authorization etc.).

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Finance or Accounting

Minimum Experience/Training Required:

• Some experience in a financial position, preferably with exposure to project control/capital management.
• Capability to manage databases from different systems (SAP, Essbase, Excel, Oracle Hyperion, MS Access, QlikView).
• Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of Oracle and SAP.
• Good communication skills.
• Task oriented (respect deadlines). Able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent command of English is essential, any other language would be an asset.
