Position Description

Position Title: Sales Engineer

Main Purpose: To provide technical support to the sales function in order to ensure product suitability and optimised production and delivery processes to support business objectives.

Reporting to: This position will report to the Product Manager

Job Objectives

·To provide direct technical support to internal and external stakeholders to optimise development of sales.

·To ensure optimal understanding of customer requirements by collaborating with sales function.

·To provide support to body builders by means of relevant information to ensure optimal lead times.

·To define vehicle or body specifications suitable to the markets.

·To monitor and audit production quality and facilitate development improvements.

·To create a platform to engage with Sweden on local product issues and possible solutions.

·To define and facilitate local adaptation and modifications of product to market requirements.

·To successfully perform homologation of new vehicles.

·To support marketing function by means of providing on-going relevant product information.

Education & Job Experience

·Technical qualification

·Tertiary qualification with a Road Transport/transport management/engineering/electronics focus

·Minimum of 3 years of technical post-qualification experience in the automotive industry

·Experience in vehicle homologation
