Position Description

Role/Purpose
Conduct a wide variety accounting duties and projects. Act as a first point contact for several basic accounting matters and free zone interaction

Key Responsibilities
·  Account, Review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records according to IFRS and Group Financial Policies and Procedures.
·  Coordinate and review accounting work assignments for accuracy and completeness.
·  Understanding of Interfaces and impact on financial statements.
·  Analyze and reconcile various balance sheet and income statement accounts; prepare and post journal entries.
·  Investigation of incoming invoices
·  Reconciliations of Sales, Banking Transactions & Receivables, Payables
·  Freight - Accounting , Analysis & Control
·  Inventory Valuations & Provisioning
·  Inter Company Accounting & Reconciliations
·  Co-ordination with Free Zone Authorities – Licenses, Trade Portal, Approvals, Queries
·  Company Insurance Management: Negotiations and Loss Ratios for Medical Insurance/ Life Insurance / Property All Risk/ Critical Illness / Crisis & Risk management
·  Setting up of Employee Bank Accounts
·  Adherence to Internal control compliance.
·  Participation in internal and external audits.

Key Performance Indicators

·  Ensure compliance with Group GAAP (Financial Policies and Procedures), local GAAP and internal control objectives.
·  Ensure compliance with FCA reporting quality standards and partners requirements.
·  Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting and reporting requirements Main Competencies

·  University degree, preferably Masters within the area of economics: accounting, finance, taxes or business.
·  Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting area (preferably in automotive industry).
·  Basic knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and other standard accounting and reporting norms.
·  Experience in working in cross functional role covering Business Teams, Audits, Finance & external stake holders
·  Hands On experience in SAP (preferable) or similar, MS Excel & other office tools
·  Excellent Communication Skills
·  Partner and customer focus
·  Be a team player in maintain good team spirit and facilitate speed of execution
