We are currently recruiting for a long standing, family feel organisation based in Rochester who are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team.

This role is a Monday to Friday position with Flexibility to work Saturdays when needed. You need to be able to work as part of a team and muck in where necessary. Due to the environment and what this company produces, you will need to be happy working in a somewhat dirty environment.

The responsibilities of this role is as follows;

·  Carrying out preventative Maintenance work on site in various locations

·  Responsible for attending to break downs on site

·  Working with Hydraulic systems, gear boxes, fabrication and welding (All experience not necessary, but it is advantageous)

·  Working with a small team engineers with an array of experience - whilst reporting into the site manager

Ideal experience:

Ideally this person will have served an apprenticeship and obtained and NVQ qualification. The ideal candidate will have prviously worked with Conveyors, Pneumatics and Hydraulics before.
