Overview of the role:
The successful candidate will be involved in safeguarding a variety of Veolia's water and wastewater construction sites so some travel is a requirement. The successful candidate will gain experience and exposure on large scale sites.
Day to day of the role:
Carry out safety inspections on site (checking correct PPE worn, plant certificates, CSR cards etc)
Producing reports to coincide with inspections
Producing / Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Organise employees training courses
Liaise with Health and Safety Manager
Accident and incident investigation as required
Experience required for success in this role
3rd level degree in a Health and Safety discipline
Should have either an IOSH managing safely certificate or be NEBOSH qualified
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety on site
Must have relevant experience (preferably 1-2 years in a similar role)
Evidence of working knowledge of quality standards, audit procedures and integrated management systems
