MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

As the Shopper Insights Strategy Analyst you'll work as part of the ‘Net Revenue Management' team and be responsible for finding opportunities, developing and evaluating category and commercial initiatives whilst providing end-to-end solution development. You are accountable for communicating insights and recommendations and ongoing performance management with category and customer teams and to empower sustainable profitable growth choices.

The role summarised
· Using multiple data sources to drive clear insights and then simplify for partner engagement and action
· Understand market trends, analysing the internal and external data available driving revenue management work streams & opportunities.
· Working with the revenue management systems to implement these strategies
· Reviewing business performance and taking appropriate actions to improve performance where necessary
· Spotting and reacting to future challenges (e.g. competitor, economic) before they negatively affect performance
· Ensuring that your strategies and actions are complementary with colleagues in other parts of Category teams and the wider Commercial department
· Working as part of a team, you are comfortable sharing ideas whilst also ensuring standard methodology is utilised
· Ensuring we have attractive prices and products for our key customer segments
· Monitoring economic, market and channel trends and taking appropriate actions
· Working closely with Sales & Marketing to develop and implement appropriate tactical activities
