About the Role:

The MPS Planner at our Minto factory is responsible for scheduling a portfolio of raw and packaging materials involved in the processes for making our delicious ice-cream Streets brands such as Cornetto, GayTime & Magnum.

Reporting into the Planning Manager your responsibilities will include:

· Balance the requirements of customer service, inventory and supplier costs to deliver targets
· React quickly to changes in actual sales, the sales forecast and supplier delivery dates
· Highlight risks and develop contingencies to ensure production plan and customer service levels are maintained
· Coordinate supply chain activities related to new product launch and deletion; identify constraints and highlighting potential risks
· Build strong relationships with Factory, Production Planners, Buying, Warehouse and other parts of the Supply Chain team. Leverage these relationships to improve the quality and robustness of supply plans that assist in business decisions
· Work with factories and key suppliers to resolve operational supply chain issues
· Continually search for opportunities to improve reliability and responsiveness
· Maintain the data integrity of the material planning systems

To be successful you will have:

· Previous experience in a supply chain function/ team, ideally within a planning team
· Excellent numerical skills including analysis
· Advanced Excel skills and SAP would be advantageous
· Critical thinking and problem solving
· Excellent people skills – with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholder interactions
