Reports to:

Logistics Procurement Manager

Purpose of Job:

The objective of this role is to manage Procurement portfolio in a cluster, run regional projects & tenders, lead cross-regional supplier, warehousing or transportation strategy agenda.

Accountability (Deliverable Outputs):

· Contract and database management

· Regional tender initiative

· Analyze, report and track savings per cluster

· Transport and warehousing cost optimization projects (round trips, efficiencies, benchmarking)

· Supplier collaboration towards improvement of 3 C's

· Sustainability initiatives (alternate fuel, intermodal corridors, energy efficiency)

· Supplier Business Allocation (proposal & support for negotiations)

· Fuel de-coupling in primary and secondary transport

· Cross-regional warehousing lead in terms of: collaboration, responsible sourcing and quality, performance management and continuous improvement, segmentation, contractual model, 3PL's negotiations and strategy

Experience:

· Bachelor degree as a minimum

· Previous experience in Purchasing or Transport, Logistic / UltraLogistik - 3 years minimum
