For Caivano sourcing unit, one of the largest Ice Cream factories in Europe, we’re looking for a strong Industrial Finance Business Partner Manager. For this key site, value can be at risk and significant value can be delivered through major projects and interventions. Together with the site leadership team, he/she will be responsible for the in-year site(s) performance, major value interventions, savings delivery, and financial controls.

The Industrial Finance Business Partner Manager is accountable for keeping compliance of the site to the Unilever control framework. He/she will be powered by a Make expertise team (MET) and shared services (SCFS, OC, IBM) on main accounting, controlling and reporting tasks. He/she will be reporting to the Make Finance network manager.

JOB SUMMARY
• Responsible for site in-year financial performance (cost/waste/Capex), site budget forecasts and partnering site leadership team. Leads strong value interventions in case of under-performance, ensures the delivery of the savings agenda.
• Leads the Make Expertise team (MET) for Italy, a team that supports all Italian manufacturing sites.
• Supervises and ultimately responsible for controls, month end process, variances analyses.
• Partners big value projects by developing and implementation of the projects (support big capex proposals/transformation project delivery).
• Contribute to the site’s masterplan through deep understanding of site financials and impacts.
• Helps develop strategic initiatives within the network focusing on cost optimization
• Responsible for delivering and controlling large transformation projects
• Finance Business Partner is member of Site Leadership Team.

INTERACTIONS
a) Finance
• Central Make network finance teams on planning and In-year performance
• Category finance teams for big projects/ major interventions
• Shared resources (MET/OC/SCFS)
• Italian operating company finance team in case of specific local finance/business projects.

b) Operations
• Caivano site team on in-year performance big interventions, projects, decision making
• Senior stakeholders responsible for total F&R network.
• Other WCM pillars as per the methodology and best practice.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Skills: driving performance and change, critical/strategic thinking, risk management, people management
• Accountability & responsibility: ensuring key controls are in place to protect value.
• Collaboration: able to interact effectively in a wide network of stakeholders.
• Professional qualifications and experience: Finance/business degree,
• Preferred: +5 years working experience of which 2/3 years finance experience in a production environment
• Fluent in English and Italian (or willing to learn)
