MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The Global Payroll Team has responded in 2019 to several challenges through a new payroll strategy and through several other initiatives i.e. compliance & control and performance management. The Global Payroll roadmap and the extra need from markets to support them with Payroll Operations and Governance, required a new Global Payroll team structure and an increase of Global Payroll team size.

The new team structure is built around 4 areas: Strategy, Compliance & Control, Payroll Operations & Network and Projects & Continuous Improvement. In order to finalize the new team structure, the Global Payroll team will hire a Global Payroll Assistant.

JOB SUMMARY

The Global Payroll Assistant will support the Leads of these 4 areas. This is a broad task which allows you to gain many different experiences in Payroll Operations, Payroll Compliance & Control, Payroll Project delivery and Payroll strategy.

Create/Draft Project status reports

·
Organize meetings and make meeting minutes

·
Track and chase with the markets related to Payroll projects

·
Collect feedback from markets regarding Payroll

·
Track Payroll Performance and prepare the monthly Payroll Board deck

·
First point of contact for Payroll incidents and tracking the status of resolution

·
Maintain the Payroll MS Team page, enabling a strong payroll network

·
Build and maintain a payroll knowledge database

·
Support the build of a Payroll Academy by collecting training needs and content

·
Follow up of Compliance & Control attestation and the gap closure

·
This role gives great exposure to payroll operations in different countries and is a great opportunity to grow into a HR Project Manager role as well a Payroll Service Matter Expert role in a specific market.

·
This role also allows you to gain experience in the newest and latest HR technology and understanding of Workday and other HR Systems.

·
You are member of the 3 Global Payroll Managers and the Global Payroll Director and will work closely with the PEO and Payroll teams in the market and the other global teams for example, Workday, IT and reward to land projects in full and on time.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 1-year experience in a PMO role. Ideally in HR and Payroll.

Strong analytical skills.

·
Communication skills in English. (Verbal and in writing)

·
Networking skills.

·
A team player.

·
Strong attention to detail

·
Thinking End2End.

·
Rigorous and structural approach to work.

·
Loves to connect with people and reaching out.

·
Flexible and adaptable style and skill set based on the type of project and stakeholders.

First experience with Agile methodology.

Able to work in a global context and matrix organization.

Aware and experienced of the latest tools to support projects i.e. MS teams

Strong in Excel and PowerPoint.

·
Knowledge of Power BI is an asset.

·
First experience with RPA and automation is an asset.
