MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The Engineering Manager has the responsibility to deliver the objectives of the Masterplan Projects on-time, within scope and within approved budget through rigorous implementation and execution of Project Plans & Designs. He/She needs to control, monitor, and manage all project aspects including safe execution, costs, timelines, Contractor Management, quality of results and post-project evaluation and reports. He/She must provide feedback and status to the Masterplan Project Lead and Stakeholders.

JOB SUMMARY

· Lead and manage the Project Execution Team with the authority and responsibility from the Masterplan Project Lead to run the project on a day-to-day basis in all aspects of safety, costs, design execution and on-time project delivery
· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
· Ensure resource availability and allocation during the Project Execution Stage
· Develop a detailed project plan to manage and track progress
· Measure project execution performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
· Oversee all onsite and offsite project activities to monitor compliance with all relevant regulations
· Report and escalate deviations, issues, and progress to Masterplan Project Lead on a regular basis
· Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
· Coordinate objectives, detailed plans, and actual activities of Contractors and Suppliers
· Manage the relationship with different Contractors and OEM Suppliers
· Manage Contractor and Supplier performance
· Perform Progressive Risk Management to minimize project risks
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation by developing forms and records to capture project activities
· Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
· Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, contractor's performance) and report regularly on project status
· Monitor project expense flow and report status & variance to Masterplan Lead and Stakeholders

KEY REQUIREMENTS

· Graduate of Mechanical Engineering
· Proven 2-3 years working experience as a project engineer
· Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
· Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
· Project management and supervision skills
· Decision making ability and leadership skills
· Current Engineering License
· Time management and organization skills
· Proficiency in report writing, data analysis, problem solving, mechanical calculations and leadership skills.
