This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

Purpose of role:

Demand Planner leads the demand planning process in conjunction with Customer Development, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning and Customer Service functions to ensure the delivery of business targets by minimizing forecast inaccuracy and bias. The Demand Planner creates a rolling 24 month unconstrained demand plan.

Responsibilities:

· Create and regularly update baseline forecast using analysis of scan & ex-factory sales data.
· Facilitate cross-functional agreement of volume forecasts for events and market trends (e.g. promotions, media, price change, store openings, competitor activity, trade stocks) across the full horizon via Forecast Review Meetings
· Prepare Forecast Variance summary, Promotion performance analysis, etc
· Consolidate the forecast components across 24 month horizon, sense-checking values and assumptions to validate the unconstrained demand plan
· Highlight risks and opportunities in sales volume based on statistical analysis, activity evaluations and other market intelligence.
· Engage with business team for innovations forecasting.
· Support Supply Planners with executing R&R (Reserve and Ration) for SKUs falling below Safety Stock levels.

Essential Experience:

· Strong experience in Supply Chain is essential
· Experience in planning is an advantage
· Experience with ERP and finished good planning systems System proficiency
· Basic appreciation of Business Finance (P&L, Cash flow, Working Capital, etc.)
· Proven ability to work within a team and build relationships
· Strong Problem Solving and Analysis
· Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and Microsoft Project)
