JOB TITLE: [Contract} Global Assistant eCommerce Manager, Alibaba (SEA Lazada)

JOB LOCATION: Singapore

BUSINESS CONTEXT

Alibaba is the largest global eCommerce Customer and key digital transformation partner for Unilever. Global Alibaba eCommerce team has set an ambitious plan to drive growth from outside China.

Alibaba built up a global roadmap a few years ago and achieved critical milestones year on year. It acquired Lazada platform for SEA and Daraz for SA, meanwhile it is trying to expand its business to EU, Russia, Middle East etc through cross-border and local-local business models. Among that, SEA is definitely the most essential battlefield to win.

Given this context, Unilever global Alibaba eCommerce team is pivoting towards a renewed strategy and team structure. This role is envisioned as Lazada headquarter customer management, super brand day and mega campaigns PMO and data champion.

This role will report to Global Alibaba eCommerce SEA Lead and closely work with Lazada regional team, Unilever SEA market teams and 3 rd party agencies.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

SEA Lazada Regional JBP

· Support Global Alibaba eCommerce SEA lead and partner with Lazada regional team & Unilever global performance marketing & global category teams to deploy Lazada regional JBP process
· Support Global Alibaba eCommerce SEA lead follow JBP governance process with cross functional teams and countries
· -Coordinate Lazada regional team and global strategic pillar leaders (SC/Data/Category Growth/Performance media) for Lazada & UL joint monthly business review

SEA Mega Campaign

· Lead Mega Campaign Lazada regional initiatives pitch for exposure with partnering and coordinating with country teams, global cross functional teams and 3 rd party agencies and responsible for end to end delivery
· Own SEA markets mega campaigns communication and coordination with Lazada regional team and Unilever country team
· Own mega campaign forum and capability building partnering with Lazada regional team incl. pre-campaigns guideline share, in-campaign on-site support and post-campaign learnings sharing

SEA Lazada Super Brand Day

· Support Lazada super brand day pitch partnering with global brand team and 3 rd party agency
· Own delivering SBD master content toolkit to countries for adaptation
· Project end to end management and own regional governance

Data Champion

· Lead to align with Lazada with consistent campaign performance dashboard and work with Lazada regional team to share with country team with insights and action plans post campaign.
· Own monthly performance dashboard delivery partnering with I&A
· Coordinate btw regional Lazada and country team on BAE data source alignment

KEY SKILLSETS & EXPERIENCES

· 2+ years experiences of working in eCommerce, focusing on Lazada group is preferred
· Any marketing related background is preferred
· Good complex project management
· Strong problem-solving capability and cross-functional/locational stakeholders management
· Strong drive to learn, adapt and create impact in a fast-changing eCommerce space
· Excellent communication and coordination skills
· Strong ownership and accountability
· Fluent in English and Mandarin (preferred)

KEY SUCCESS INDICATORS

· Successfully deploy the new ways of working on mega campaign with regional Lazada
· Mega campaign initiatives OTIF
· Successfully secure regional super brand day exposure to countries
· Monthly business review OTIF
· Monthly business and mega campaign dashboard OTIF
