The Business Integrity Officer for Turkey supports local leaders, as owners of Code and business integrity risks inherent in their operations, to identify and mitigate these by reference to the Code and the tools that govern relations between Unilever and third parties. S/he manages Turkey Business Integrity (“BI”) Committee, ensuring robust oversight and governance for such matters, and is a respected and visible Go To person for the escalation of BI related issues within Turkey.

BIO for Turkey is part of the Global BI Network, reporting to the Global Business Integrity Director – Investigations & NAMETRUB (North Africa, Middle East, Israel, Turkey, Unica (Unilever Central Asia countries) Iran, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus) with a dotted line to the General Counsel NAMETRUB, and working closely with relevant colleagues across the Legal/Business Integrity community. BIO for Turkey may further be invited to contribute to global or regional BI projects.

Turkey BIO must demonstrate the values, skills, judgment, drive and influence needed to deploy Unilever's Business Integrity framework for results consistent with the Unilever global Roadmap for Business Integrity.

Turkey BIO will interface with the following stakeholders

· Global Business Integrity Director – Investigations & NAMETRUB
· GC NAMETRUB
· TUI (Turkey, Unica & Iran) EVP and leadership team
· TUI BI Committee
· Other Functional risk specialists (e.g. in Finance, HR, IT and Legal) including subject matter experts
· Global BI Network colleagues
· Other stakeholders as may be designated from time to time.

Job Summary:

· Organize, initiate, develop and follow-up education programmes for all employees about BI, create an action plan according to the outcomes. Continuously manage BI agenda to keep and increase the awareness level of employees
· Maintain an understanding of applicable laws, regulations and best practices
· Facilitate the deployment of local procedures and controls to cover key local BI areas including third party compliance solutions – Responsible Sourcing Policy and Responsible Business Partner Policy
· Ensure that all reporting options are clearly communicated and encourage a speak up culture

· Facilitate and track local Code and BI awareness across the organization through town halls, Integrity Moments and other forms of leadership team engagements
· Embed BI Country Profile within WoW to determine priority Code/BI focus areas/training needs
· Responsible for overall execution of Code cases and Investigations (breaches)
· Present cases findings and investigations with a view to closing with TUI BI Committee

· Act as Code Business Partner to Country Leadership
· Be the first point of contact for any Code related queries.Plan and execute Country BI Roadmap and Code Compliance organisation

Key Requirements:

The ability to influence key stakeholders and to be an agent for change are essential in this role as is the ability to manage potentially sensitive and complex investigations.

A good grasp of relevant underlying legal frameworks, compliance, risk and issues is essential. Training and support will be provided to develop areas of expertise. Basic requirements to qualify for the role include the following:

· University degree in Law, Economy or Business administration
· Minimum 5 years' relevant professional experience
· Significant experience conducting corporate and/or law enforcement investigations and investigative interviewing
· Excellent report writing skills and ability to present findings to senior stakeholders
· Excellent command of relevant languages including English (the working language of Unilever)
· Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
· Initiative and the ability to work both independently and in a team in an international environment
