Job Title: -   R&D Engineer

**Note**: Final Designation/Level will be decided based on the relevant experience and interview ratings.

At UBISOFT, Data Scientist will get an opportunity to work with highly skilled Industry professionals. Under the supervision of Automation Architect ???, they will get a chance to work on various components important in game production pipeline.

 

Job summary: 

UBISOFT is seeking for R&D Engineer having proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, C# and C++.

Good mathematical skills are prerequisites.

 

Job Description

·         Research on AI topics and build prototype on identified areas

·         Preparing presentation and reports for cross studio communication

·         Suggesting cutting edge solution to solve AI related problems

·         Identify and implement areas for continuous process improvement

·         Identify areas and format of data collection for analytics and build analytics system

·         Implement best practices of data management

·         Developing state of the art and robust Automation Framework in game testing

·         Developing robust Automation ranging from simple to complex scenarios

·         Working closely with Production team, Developers, Tools Group and Test teams to understand game  architecture, game play and thereby develop automation solution for speedy and quality delivery of games

·         Develop tools and applications to enhance productivity in game testing life cycle

·         Working in team, collaborating with other members of the team, locally and abroad.

·         Contribute in knowledge sharing, brain storming, and other initiatives of prototype development and  innovation

 

Required Skills

·         Having a strong conceptual understanding and hands on coding expertise in one or more of the following:

·  C++
·  C#
·  Java
·  Python

·         Having at least 5 years of coding experience in one or more of the above languages

·         Working knowledge of Tensorflow , Scikit or related libraries

·         Working knowledge of Data Science concepts like Data Mining, Statistics, Application of ML and adding intelligence to data

·         Hands on implementation of Machine Learning techniques and algorithms like Regression, Decision Trees, K-means, Makov Decision process, GBM, XGBoost etc.

·         Strong knowledge on data collection, cleansing tools and data base like SQL, Hadoop, NoSQL

·         Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities

·         Knowledge of Versioning/source-code-control system.

·         Good verbal and communication skills

·         Be flexible in organizing the work as per the requirements

·         Well organized and autonomous

·         Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment

·         Open for feedback and enjoys working in a fast paced, constantly iterating environment.

·         Highly motivated and quick learner

 

Qualification:

·         Ph. D or Master’s Degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence with 5 – 10 years of relevant industry experience

 

Added Advantage

·         Experience in gaming industry is an added advantage

·         Android and iOS development knowledge is added advantage
