The role has a major emphasis on creativity, technical execution and interdepartmental collaboration while also guiding the team in the right direction regarding the technical development.
· Create vegetation scatter masks and rules
· Create vegetation clutter masks and rules
· Create procedural solutions for Landscapes, Forests, Lakes, Shorelines, Cliffs, Streamers, Rivers
· Push the development of tools needed for handling procedural scatter systems
· Initiate productive communication with other teams and studios in being proactive, positive and professional at all times.
Good understanding of procedural workflows as used in Softwares like Houdini, Substance Designer, World Machine, Unreal blueprints.
Scattering & procedural are tied to our terrain technology and a Procedural artist need a very good understanding of it (Terrain texture distribution, material terrain rules …)
