Job description

Ubisoft teams are driven by their desire to enrich players' lives through original, memorable entertainment experiences. These teams bring to life whole new worlds – veritable playing fields in which players can freely express their imagination, leading to moments of surprise, fun and adventure, as well as fostering learning and discovery.

For more than 8 years, via its Ubisoft Mobile entity, Ubisoft has also shaped worlds on smartphones and tablets via its portfolio of mobile games.

At Ubisoft Mobile, you will have a chance to develop your skills and work alongside dedicated team members who are pioneers in their field, throughout the world.

You will be part of a warm and stimulating environment in which you can push back the boundaries of both the imagination and technology to create worlds that will inspire our players.

Your position is located at Ubisoft HQ in the Mobile division. You will be tasked with supervising the development of various games intended for different audiences (gamers, general public, etc.) on mobile formats (smartphone & tablet) based on the free-to-play business model.

You will work in close collaboration with a number of internal and external studios, assisting them at every step in the pre-launch development process (from the initial design through to the worldwide release) and offering your recommendations to the Ubisoft Mobile management team.

Based in Montreuil, this position will involve frequent travel to our studios around the world.

Within the Editorial division to which you are assigned, and under the supervision of the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

·  Remotely supervising the production of a mobile games portfolio, guaranteeing the execution of the initial undertaking, while maintaining the strategic orientations and consumer vision through to the worldwide release;
·  Identifying each project's key success factors and facilitating their implementation by specifically managing priorities and analyzing the development schedule and team productivity;
·  Drawing on your cross-functional knowledge of the portfolio in order to advise the project teams with research on existing technical, creative or organizational solutions used in other projects, and liable to improve the product's quality and/or generate gains in productivity;
·  Seeking the intervention of the various business experts working at HQ (Editorial, Technical, User Research, CMK, B/I, etc.) when you consider it necessary in order to mitigate the risks you will have identified;
·  Preparing and organizing regular reviews of the project's deliverables within the general context of the Stage Gate Process;
·  Organizing validation meetings (Gates) with Ubisoft Mobile Management when justified by the project's status, and presenting an overview of each project's production issues;
·  Helping to improve the quality of our games and the productivity of our teams by making recommendations on the production methods and pipeline, staffing and team composition;
·  Identifying the issues and risks that concern the internal support team leaders (QC, Business, Localization, Legal, etc.) to facilitate their prioritization;
·  Establishing a roadmap with the studios, in Soft Launch mode, based on intermediate target KPIs leading to the decision for worldwide release.

You benefit from:

·  Extensive experience in the video games industry (5-7 years), ideally in the production of mobile games;
·  Excellent knowledge of production issues , the difficulties generally encountered by teams and the solutions tailored to their constraints;
·  The ability to analyze and prioritize issues, and to give coherent guidelines in different domains: design, organization, business, technology;
·  The capacity to simultaneously oversee different innovative projects with diverse technological, editorial and commercial orientations;
·  Excellent knowledge of mobile games and the mobile market;
·  An ongoing concern for consumers' expectations and requirements, and their use of products;
·  A flair for human relations, combining leadership and diplomacy;
·  Fluent English.

Benefits

Lunch vouchers, 50% reimbursement of transportation fees, 4 free video games a year, price reduction on concerts and shows, employee discounts at the Ubisoft gym.

Make every future a success.
