The Human Resources Assistant (HRA) will provide administrative support for the Distribution Center (DC) HR department, to  include duties related to recruiting, onboarding, benefits and payroll management,  leaves of absence case management,  maintaining personnel records, and preparation of reports associated with various HR functions.

 

What you’ll be doing:

·  Manages and maintains HR information systems to include entering new hire records, and processing associate status change updates.
·  Prepares, Maintains, and tracks, associate data reports for DC leaders to conduct associate evaluations, manage attendance (sick, vacation and holiday time), and other pertinent concerns.
·  Counsels associates and processes information concerning benefit plans and provisions.
·  Assists with completing claims and enrollment for programs including insurance, 401(k), and leaves of absence.
·  Champions associate engagement and supports various activities to drive associate morale.
·  Assists new hire recruitment and onboarding processes.
·  Bilingual associates will assists with translations for associate relations, benefits and medical services matters.
·  Provides customer service to associates by responding to inquiries regarding HR related issues including employment verifications, clarification of information and follow-up on request documentation.
·  Retrieves and administers drug test results and ensures records and reports are appropriately maintained.
·  Responds to external inquiries regarding a variety of Human Resources issues.
·  Interacts with corporate HR administration team regularly to provide updates on associate matters.
·  Participates in special projects as assigned.

 

The skills that will make YOU successful:

·  Associate’s degree in an HR related field or equivalent HR experience required
·  2+ years of experience in an administrative position involving HR related tasks
·  High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite (including excel), Outlook & Internet applications
·  Exceptional customer service demonstrated through positive actions
·  Strong prioritizing, organizational, problem-solving, & interpersonal skills
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills
·  Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
·  Knowledge of payrollHRIS systems preferred. (Kronos, Oracle)
·  Knowledge of basic HR functions. (payroll, files and benefits)
·  Bilingual in second language Preferred. (Gujarati, Hindi, Spanish, Chinese)

 

Schedule

·  Overnight: Monday – Thursday 5:45PM – 4:15AM   (Offered Shift Differential)
