Job description

Front End
• Vacuum walk off mats and vestibule carpets
• Remove mats & carts from corral area to allow access for cleaners
• Clean storefront glass often (vestibules & doors, windows)
Dressing Rooms
• Remove trash from stalls and clean mirrors
• Dust tops of stalls and sweep the floor
Sales Floor
• Sweep floor & dust fixtures and shelves often
• Recover merchandise, hangers, size IDs, etc.
• Remove trash, gum and stickers
• Spot mop dirt / spills areas as needed
• Clean shoe & end cap mirrors, jewelry counters and mirrored columns.

Keep the Custodial Closet clean and organized
• Keep doors closed but unlocked at all times
• Conduct an inventory so that all cleaners and supplies are well stocked
• Maintain, and keep visible, the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the yellow binder
• Storing non-SDS items could lead to OHSA violations
• Keep storage cages locked (if applicable)
• Ensure spray bottles are labeled to match cleaner
• Maintain eyewash tanks (every 90 days)
• Change mop heads as needed
• Ensure mop sticks are labeled “RESTROOM ONLY” and 'SALES FLOOR ONLY'.
