The Human Resources Assistant (HRA) will provide administrative support for the human resources department, which may include duties related to staffing, onboarding, benefits, payroll management, personnel records, unemployment, and preparation of reports associated with these functions.

 

You'll be responsible for:

·  Assist with recruiting & hiring activities
·  Liaison with external community based organizations used to market opportunities and recruit talent
·  Assist with event coordination (benefits fairs, job fairs, seminars, etc.)
·  Conducting new hire orientations and acculturation of new hires
·  Assist with associate relations, workplace health, and safety matters
·  Transmit, reconcile, and audit payroll reports in conjunction with Home Office
·  Responsible for the compilation and distribution of various HR Reports
·  Updates and maintains the HRIS (Oracle & Kronos) to include personnel files, profiles, new hire paperwork, bid acceptances, vacation, and personnel change status entries
·  Plan and execute associate engagement events and community relations activities
·  Perform other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support HR/business operations

 

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
·  1-3 years of experience in an administrative position involving HR related tasks
·  High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite (including excel), Outlook & Internet applications
·  Exceptional customer service demonstrated through positive actions
·  Strong prioritizing, organizational,  problem-solving, & interpersonal skills
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills
·  Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
·  Knowledge of payroll/HRIS systems preferred. (Kronos, Oracle)
·  Knowledge of basic HR functions (payroll, files and benefits)
·  Bilingual preferred
