Sr. Compensation Analyst

As our Sr. Compensation Analyst you will be a key resource helping design our global compensation strategy to employees in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela and Guyana.

Job description

¡  Analyze and oversee internal and external market compensation equity
¡  Lead market-based compensation survey submissions and implement data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends, and geographic or industry-specific variables
¡  Analyze job and compensation related data and develop models of statistical analysis with appropriate recommendations, including data and costs analysis for new programs
¡  Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to assess competitive compensation ranges for each position on an annual basis
¡  Assess and maintain proper job slotting and classifications against organization’s global job hierarchy and local regulations
¡  Reports to the NAM Compensation Manager and assists with program design, delivery, analysis, budgeting and implementation of compensation programs.
¡  Collaborates with Corporate Compensation on a variety of compensation projects, such as salary campaigns, budgeting, salary survey participation, etc.
¡  Helps administer the global annual compensation campaigns, such as salary & bonus campaigns, long term incentives, etc.
¡  Supports roll out of global compensation policies, such as budgeting, salary ranges, guidelines, etc.
¡  Manages up-to-date bonus plan tracking to enable accurate quarterly accruals.
¡  Manages the quarterly tracking of NAM compensation KPI, such as tracking of salary spend, total compensation cost etc.
¡  Works with HRIS and IT staff to ensure that HRIS software systems meets compensation needs and are updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs, etc.
¡  Provides guidance to HR business partners as needed on compensation recommendations, FLSA reviews, etc.

You are meant for this job if

¡  Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
¡  5-8 years of progressively more responsible compensation experience in pay plan administration, including experience with bonus and incentive plans in mid- to large-sized organizations.
¡  Intermediate functionality of Excel spreadsheets (i.e. vlookups, pivot tables, charts, etc) working with large data sets.
¡  Experience with costing, data extraction, analysis and presentation.
¡  Ability to work within multiple compensation/ERP systems.

Preferred Education and Experience

¡  SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or equivalent certified compensation accreditation
¡  Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification
¡  Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification
¡  Advanced functionality of Excel spreadsheets (i.e. macros, index/match functions, calculated pivot table fields, power pivots, etc.)
¡  Working knowledge of SAP
