RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Process Enginer you will be responsible for the verification and selection of process equipment for Oil and Gas production equipment.

Involved in the process side of a project beginning with assisting the sales and applications group at the RFQ stage on through the project's production lifecycle until the final delivery of the project.

Through the focus on a smart, lean, cost effective process design it will be your responsibility to help ensure the best possible added value solution (cost basis, return on investment) is provided to the client.

Ensure that the latest state of TechnipFMC's Production technology is applied in the process design and engineering within the project/proposal specifications, authority requirements and other contractual obligations

MAIN TASKS:
• Reviews and clarifies technical requirements to determine concept selection including process equipment design.
• Establishes line sizing, valve sizing, PFD & P&ID layout, composition of process data sheets and process design write up.
• Prepares technical quotation's content in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with the appropriate codes, standards and specifications as defined by the client's requirements.
• Provides Technical Sales support for specific customers. Sales support efforts will not be region specific, thus regular international travelling may be required.
• Provides after-sales process support to the customers.
• Serves as the technical specialist in customer presentations, seminars, conferences etc.
• Serves as the process related point of contact, technical specialist during BCM with clients.
• Provides process input during project execution phase (HAZID, HAZOP meetings, customer process queries, detailed process engineering, P&ID and drawing and miscellaneous process equipment check work).
• Must demonstrate advanced negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills in order to interact with customers, suppliers and co-workers.
• Demonstrates ability to coordinate multiple projects, tasks and changing priorities.
• Work systematically to resolve problems, identify causes, anticipate implications and make informed decisions.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering required. Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of process design experience working in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Experience with process simulation software (HYSYS, OLGA, Pipesim, Unisim)
• Good communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to make decisions on a fast pace environment.
• Analytical problem solving mindset.
• Flexibility to travel and participate in conference calls with global groups.
• Creative and show initiative.
• Able to follow the proper channels of communication to resolve conflict.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Spends most of time in an office environment. Will spend some time in shop coordinating tests may be exposed to possible shop hazards including heavy machinery, high noise, chemicals and shop traffic. Foreign travel may be required.
