Financial Accountant

Job Purpose
The T-MOS Financial Account will be responsible for applying accounting principles and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures are followed.

Full responsibility for the timely and accurate delivery of actuals, forecasts and budgets for T-MOS G&A, Allocable and Onshore Pools
Ā·
Assist with the timely and accurate delivery of actuals, forecasts and budgets for T-MOS Cash Flow
Ā· To challenge and review existing procedures / processes
Ā· To be an active team player within T-MOS Finance
Job Description
Ā·
Review of T-MOS G&A, Allocable and Onshore Pools monthly actuals prepared by GL Team.
Ā·
Quarterly interface with T-MOS Department Managers to review actuals vs. budget.
Ā·
Preparation of T-MOS G&A, Allocable and Onshore Pools forecast, explaining any variances from prior forecast & budget
Ā·
Preparation of Overhead Allocation to vessels for budget and forecast, explaining any variances from prior forecast & budget.
Ā·
Preparation of T-MOS G&A, Allocable and Onshore Pools budget.
Ā·
Ensure relevant support is provided to budget holders.
Ā·
Ensure all main processes are documented and procedures and coding guides provided to and fully understood by budget holders. Updates / amendments as appropriate to keep aligned with the business.
Ā·
Ensure budget holders are provided in a timely manner with sufficient levels of visibility of financial data required to effectively manage their budgets.
Ā·
Ensure compliance of cost management processes and procedures.
Ā·
Assist with preparation of quarterly Cash Flow forecast
Ā·
Preparation of monthly Cash Flow actual reporting.
Ā·
Preparation of annual Cash Flow budget
You are meant for this job if
Ā·
Part qualified Accountant or 2 years' experience in a similar type role
Ā·
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Ā·
Good understanding of management accounts
Ā·
Experience of customer facing operations accounting
Ā·
Experience in dealing with multiple currencies and financial instruments
Ā·
Oracle Applications or ERP experience (nice to have)
