Maintenance Coordinator

·  Coordinate maintenance of equipment to assure availability for use in daily business operations.
·  Issue assignments for Maintenance Department employees.
·  Fulfill inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget
·  Makes sure all the information necessary for issuing the inquiry is available
·  Prepares purchase order documents and checks for quality; follows up and expedites as necessary
·  Supports negotiation with vendors.
·  Ensure best value for purchased goods and services

Coordinate daily activity for all requests. Supports spare and repair parts inventory management for production equipment and facilities equipment. Prepares the list of vendors from whom to order. Expedites bids and places purchase orders for goods and services.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Strong organizational skills required

• Strong computer skills required

• Strong communication skills required

• Technical back background preferred

• Industrial manufacturing shop environment with exposure to machinery, pressurized equipment, heights, high noise levels, high temperatures, moving components, grease, dirt, and sharp objects. 40-60 hours per week

• Job requires standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and bending.
