Field Service Technician

As a representative of our Surface International Department, you will be a key player in delivering high quality service to our clients while executing hands-on installation, repair and/or troubleshooting of surface wellhead systems.

Your role will be based in Henderson with frequent travel sometimes at short notice.

Job Description
·  The FST's purpose is be a TFMC representative onshore or offshore to ensure company equipment is installed and or worked on using the approved procedures and to ensure professional conduct at all times.
·  Competent and multi-skilled in most tasks involved in TFMC surface operations, requires very minimal supervision or guidance.
·  Ensure all quality, safety and environmental procedures are adhered to.
·  Work independently to install new products and conducts repairs of TFMC equipment
·  Ensure no rig NPT for our customers and maintaining assets of TFMC.
·  Assure all equipment, service tooling and spare parts are on location and ready to use and function fit prior to beginning each job.
·  Records critical dimensions to ensure assembly will work and obtains or creates product running procedures.
·  Maintain communication with Company Representative on issues including job procedures, spare parts requirements, function fit and critical dimension measurements.
·  Complete Field Non-Conformance Reports (FNCR) forms as product problems are encountered. Assures all equipment and procedural defects are communicated back to TFMC Service Management.
·  Prepare and submit Field Service Orders, well documentation and other region required reports after each job is complete.
You are meant for this job if you;
·  Possess mechanical, electronic and or hydraulics related experience with wellhead and pressure control equipment OR
·  Have had previous relevant onshore/offshore experience in surface wellhead or a related discipline
·  You're an excellent communicator and has a high attention to detail
·  Can demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, are motivated to deliver and exceed expectations
·  Can demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory environment
·  Have a high ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
·  Can work on your own initiative with minimal guidance
·  Have the ability to work across multiple activities and manage deadlines and conflicting priorities
·  Can be available for frequent travel and have the flexibility to work extended hours as and when required
·  Highly motivated with positive attitude, this is an entry level role and trainees with right credentials will be considered.
