At Technip Singapore, we are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our multicultural offshore workforce.

Job description

Ā· 
Shall be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the electrical plant on the vessel, excluding the diving system

Ā· 
Shall ensure that he is familiar with the machinery and systems so that, in an emergency, essential services can be safely and speedily restored.

Ā· 
Shall assist with survey work as directed by a Senior Officer.

Ā· 
Shall ensure that any information he enters in the maintenance records is accurate.

Ā· 
Will notify the vessel Chief Engineer of spare gear and stores requirements.

Ā· 
Shall be fully conversant with the relevant codes of practice

Ā· 
Keep the vessel Second and Chief Engineers fully informed as to the progress of any work which he has undertaken

Ā· 
Shall inform the vessel Second and Chief Engineers of any defects or problems encountered in area of responsibility.

Ā· 
Shall be conversant with electrical plant on the unit.

Ā· 
Shall be trained as a Responsible Person for Permit to Work (PTW) system and isolations.

You are meant for this job if you have:

Ā· 
Recognised electrical trade qualification

Ā· 
Record of competence to be an Electrician which needs to take cognisance of flag and coastal state requirements at an operational level demonstrating relevant experience

Ā· 
Valid in-date IMCA DP Logbook

Ā· 
Valid Offshore Survival certificate / Valid Offshore Medical certificate (OGUK) / OPITO CA-EBS Initial Deployment Training / Bi-Deltoid Shoulder Measurement

Ā· 
Extensive offshore experience

Ā· 
Customer focussed

Ā· 
Excellent spoken and written English
