Electrical Analysis Engineer

We are looking for a motivated engineering professional to join our Controls & Automation Team in Krakow Engineering Center. As an Electrical Analysis Engineer , you will be providing engineering expertise for the evaluation of integrated oil/gas solutions across the entirety of system architectural designs and to devise baseline requirements for equipment manufacturing to ensure functionality, performance, quality, safety, health, and environmental protection criteria. You will be working in close cooperation with Systems Engineering Group in Kongsberg, Norway.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

ยท 
Performing electrical and signal communication analysis with some aspects of mechanical and hydraulic area

ยท 
Performing integrated front-end analysis engineering to identify minimal cost solutions for subsea/surface/onshore/offshore umbilicals, risers, flowlines and production systems including electrical and communications distribution architectures

ยท 
Creating and publishing analysis reports and presenting to internal and external project team stakeholders

ยท 
Performing numerical analysis for electrical power supply and transmission systems, communication package equipment and signal distribution including electrical communications

ยท 
Defining needed input data for system components in order to produce high fidelity simulations for equipment architectures and work with clients and equipment suppliers to develop common understanding and agreement on data needs

ยท 
Supporting identification of system architecture risks including failure and recovery modes and automated/autonomous shutdown systems and their analysis

ยท 
Helping in the documentation and negotiation of system and product requirements in collaboration with Systems Engineering

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

ยท 
Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field

ยท 
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience

ยท 
Strong mathematical, statistical and/or physics fundamentals

ยท 
Broad knowledge of electrical system components such as transmission lines, cables, switches, fuses, power transformers, line transformers, electric filters, etc.

ยท 
Experience with electrical circuit simulation tools such as PSpice, LTSpice or MicroCap

ยท 
Experience in MATLAB or similar tool

ยท 
High level of autonomy in task execution

ยท 
Accuracy, dependability and high attention to detail

ยท 
Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
