Design Engineer

We are looking for a motivated engineering professional to join our Controls & Automation Department in Krakow Engineering Center. As a Design Engineer , you will be working with controls and distribution scope for subsea applications, and working in close cooperation with TechnipFMC Controls Center of Expertise in Kongsberg, Norway.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· 
Creating and checking of the required drawings such as: machining (detailed with geometrical tolerances), fabrication, assembly, production, welding, general arrangement, wiring and P&ID

· 
Exchanging of 2D and 3D CAD information

· 
Performing and contributing to Design Reviews

· 
Following-up of machining, production and assembly if required

· 
Creating as-built documentation

· 
Maintaining own schedule and informing the project of any expected delays

· 
Defining and carrying out basic calculations based on various fundamental physic rules

· 
Assisting in product standardization activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in one of the engineering fields: Mechanical Engineering, Machine Building or Civil Engineering

· 
More than 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering and/or CAD design

· 
Experience in NX/Teamcenter is desired

· 
Experience in AutoCAD is required

· 
Knowledge of other CAD and data management tools such as Creo/PDMLink will be a plus

· 
Experience in creating of technical drawings for machining, welding and fabrication will be a plus

· 
Very good problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

· 
Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment

· 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· 
Demonstrated ability to communicate in English, orally and through written documentation

· 
Willingness to travel occasionally to other TechnipFMC facilities
