What will you be doing?
As the Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for assisting the area sales account managers in the San Francisco Bay area while providing on-site technical customer service for our refining industry customer(s) within the area. 

In this role, you will be responsible for chemistry testing, chemical feed and control equipment maintenance, chemical inventory management, technical recommendations, and written service reports.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
• Install and service chemical feed and water treatment, and chemical feed equipment at designated locations
• Act as technical consultant and liaison with customer management and technical counterparts
• Perform water analysis and/or collecting samples for preparation, labeling, and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis
• Work with PLC controls, understanding water process treatment design, and repairing pumps, instruments and control panels
• Conduct preventive maintenance and calibrating feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintaining log sheets
• Maintain inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, and piping), and adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine, as well as special sampling and analysis
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of safety on the job, including the operation and maintenance of an assigned company vehicle
• Safely operate a forklift to move bulk chemical containers to the proper location which requires annual forklift operator training and certification
• Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies
