Job description

The intern will assist Business Operations management in the improvement and efficiency of sales forecasting and business analytics through the use of new business intelligence tools, mainly Microsoft Power BI.

 

He or she will create and complete data request queries and, through visualization, reports and dynamic dashboards, will transform data into actionable information to support the management team in understanding the evolution of the business and make informed decisions based on factual events.

 

Additional to the technical knowledge and expertise, it is therefore also crucial for the candidate to have excellent communication skills and business acumen, to fully understand the varied users’ requirements, and to be able to structure them into a meaningful data model and ultimately in a Business Intelligence solution.

 

They would assist in the further development of sales erosion analysis with Strategic Marketing. This would encompass ensuring the opportunities within Sales Force are realistic and are managed in a timely manner. The goal would be to put into place processes and procedures to ensure the integrity of this data. 

 

Profile

Successful candidate will have to be proficient or expert knowledge on the following:

Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Power Point, Excel and Microsoft Power BI
Development, analysis and reporting of sales/marketing results.
Creation of predictive analysis based on historical trends.
Use of statistical methods to analyze data and generate value added business reports.
Development of what-if scenarios and modeling.
Strong ability to identifying patterns and trends in data and formulate a resolution for future business success.
