Sales Manager

Responsible for generating worldwide ST sales for Account Signify (former Philips-Lighting). Develops business relations by promoting ST image, ST technologies, product portfolio and application solutions to customer and/ or partners.

·  Develops in collaboration with the GMRA manager the sales strategy and implements it and ensuring customer satisfaction.
·  Contributes to the development of the sales figure and sales/budget/market share of the account.
·  Participates in presenting products and services that can benefit customer’s needs.
·  Manages new projects being developed with both the customer and our product divisions and identifies new directions for partnership with his/her customer in close cooperation with the global Account-team and collaboration with the Market Development/Product Marketing/ Applications Engineering teams.
·  Responsible for complete understanding of the customer profile and customer base including key managers/decision-makers/personnel as well as SAM/TAM/BILLINGS/BOOKINGS.
·  Responsible for the global sales budget for this account
·  Active participation in the annual price negotiations and eventually take over main responsibility for the negotiations.
·  The candidate is responsible for all aspects of quality; in work, processes, products, and results. 

Profile

·  Candidate has excellent communication skills (both in English and Dutch), oral and in writing
·  Good negotiation skills. 
·  Must be able to handle high levels of tension. Understands the different cultures, between Europe, the Americas and Asia and has to be a team player
·  Demonstrates knowledge of the ST organization’s entire product line; may have more in depth knowledge on a subset of products or services. 
·  Understands the customer lighting applications at least to the block diagram level.
·  Demonstrates knowledge of ST competitors’ strengths and weaknesses. 
·  Must be able to analyze the Signify (financial) performance and report and advise the management on the long-term strategy that should be followed to ensure business/market share growth at the Signify account.
·  Must be mobile, able and willing to travel by car, train and/or airplane.
Must be in the possession of a valid personal driver license.
·  Must be able to fluently work with the standard Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and digital communication tools
