Job description

You, as a Semiconductor Product / Test Engineer, will join the operation management team of ST Imaging division based in Taiwan – Hsinchu, working in partnership with local OSATs (outsourced semiconductor assembly and test). 

You will be involved in the manufacturing operations of integrated circuits, including wafer foundry, wafer probing, assembly and final testing, with focus on test operations performed by automated test equipment (ATE). You will be supporting various specialty products for key global customers, manufactured under highest quality standards such as IATF-16949.

You will be trained on the electrical and optical function of a semiconductor device, with the coaching of an experienced team. You will bring this product knowledge to the manufacturing environment in order to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.

You will apply Measurement Systems Analysis methodologies (MSA) and lead the qualification of new test equipment and new upgrades, in compliance with ST and regulatory standards.

You will be involved in product development processes and contribute to the development of the next generation of products, with a level of responsibility matching your experience.

You will take ownership of cross-functional operational processes such as risk analysis, change planning, non-conformity lot management, in connection with overseas ST front-end plants and product development teams.

Profile

·  You must have technical background, such as electrical engineering, industrial engineering or related field.
·  Fundamentals of electronic circuits, wave optics and software engineering are expected inside your toolbox.
·  With a strong motivation to work in a fast paced and data intensive production environment.
·  You must be a strong self-learner willing to acquire knowledge on device operation, industry standards (IATF, AEC, JEDEC, etc…), data analysis tools, production testing equipment (ATE).
·  Previous exposure with IC manufacturing or similar industrial environment is a strong advantage.
·  Previous experience in semiconductor development (such as test engineering, system application, design validation) is also a strong advantage.
·  Ability to perform data analysis, synthesis and decision-making.
·  Hands-on troubleshooting, team work and problem solving skills.
·  Efficient communication and coordination skills.
Personal interest for electronics and/or optics is a strong plus.
·  Can travel easily and frequently (with Taiwan and overseas)
