Job description
PhD student:
Some new innovative solution emerge to remova particles from substrate. Main principle is to coat the wafer to be cleaned with a polymer film, and then to make this film peel off the surface. The goal is to detach the particles from the surface without any mechanical damage to the features present on the wafer. The study will consist in deeply studying the mechanism, and optimize the process: polymer coating & peeling. The PhD student will also have to ensure a universality of the process, that needs to work on all kind of substrate nature, surface topography, and particles nature.
many characterizations tools will be provided (adhesion technics, surface characterizations, polymer, particles counter on wafer etc).
the work will be mainly done at CEA Leti in collaboration with ST & CNRS in the Grenoble area.
