Job description

The group is searching for electronic or computer engineers for working with the digital physical design (back-end) team. The digital back-end team receives the synthesized digital architecture design from front-end designers and then performs Design for Testability (DFT) insertion, floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, layout optimizations and signoff analyses (formal verification, parasitic extraction, static timing analysis, rail analysis) in order to obtain a reliable layout to be passed to manufacturing within the expected tape-out deadlines. The candidate will work with the team and will be responsible for one or more physical design steps of specific designs, to be discussed each time with the team. He/she will have the opportunity to learn industrial practices on products to be manufactured and will interact with front-end teams as well as with analog layout designers and product engineers.

Profile

- General knowledge of digital circuit development process, hardware description languages, scripting languages.

- Competencies on Digital flow with Synopsys and Cadence solution.

- Scripting experience in Python, Tcl, and SKILL code is considered as a plus

- Open mind approach, attitude to work in team, result orientation and pro-activeness
