DevOps Engineer at STMicroelectronics Technology R&D
We are looking for a talented and motivated DevOps engineer to take our team to the next level.
OUR TEAM :
We develop and operate mission-critical web-based enterprise software components for the ST R&D community. Although we are part of a multinational hi-tech corporation, a most entertaining playground,  we enjoy a high degree of technical freedom and choose exactly the methodologies and technologies which fit our mission. Having learnt a lot from our past mistakes, our team is at a turning point and ready for the state-of-the-art automation of our integration and deployment activities
YOUR ROLE
 You will iteratively define, set up and improve our CI/CD processes and the associated toolchain. In parallel, you will gradually build up a robust runtime environment hosting containerized web services and applications. We aim at 100% automation and 0% stress.

You will work with our two-pizza team of developers, our corporate IT department, and some third-party vendors and customers. STMicroelectronics is beginning to move from an on-premise to a cloud strategy, so one or more cloud platforms will be part of the picture as well, sooner rather than later. More generally, you'

The business analyst works in cooperation with users, business process owners, central IT service and local technical teams.
His position requires a unique combination of technical and interpersonal skills.
He must be able to speak about technical concepts to individuals at all levels in the organization while developing a deep understanding or users needs.

A Master's degree is probably required, preferably in computing. We would like you to have some devops or unix admin experience, yet might be happy to give a passionate beginner a chance.
