Job Description

As Alsid’s QA engineer, you will be in charge of ensuring strong software quality for the company’s product and developing the end-to-end testing environment to carry constant delivery of Alsid SaaS and on-premise platforms deployment.

To support its hyper-growth and guarantee a strong product quality, Alsid is looking for a technical QA Engineer having a rigorous state-of-mind .

As part of your missions, you will work closely** with the DevOps team** to support every QA mission to reach Alsid quality objectives. Starting from designing test plans and performing them to design internal tools which will be used to automate the testing scenario, you will be responsible.

Alsid’s core mission is to provide a versatile SaaS solution to help major companies secure their core information systems. To follow the threat landscape, Alsid needs to deliver time-based releases to its customers and key partners, thus maintaining** overall product quality despite short development sprint.**

* Your daily missions will include: *

·  Design end-to-end automated and manual test cases
·  Run test campaign and provide test retorts to the development and DevOps teams
·  Automate, maintain and execute performance tests
·  Create defect report, provide support for defect resolution
·  Review functional specification and design documents to create test plans and ensure that all requirements are testable
·  Partner with Product Marketing team to update end-user documentation before every new release
·  Continuously look for ways to improve the Quality Assurance process

Preferred Experience

Experience
o 1+ year experience in software testing
o Background in Computer Science and web application development

Required skills
o Rigorous temperament** with analytical skills** craving to reach testing exhaustivity
o Good knowledge of of testing activities (Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Campaign Management…)
o Strong written and communication skills with ability to convince
o Familiarity with diagnostic tools , and capacity to lead troubleshooting tasks
o Knowledge in * automation * using cloud environment
o Scripting capabilities for testing orchestration
o Business English speaking
