Job Description

As an Artificial Intelligence Research at Protera, you will develop, test, and deploy deep learning models for our computational biology team. These models focus on different areas of structural biology and the biochemistry of proteins.

Responsibilities:

Develop research work on deep learning autonomously, based on objectives previously agreed with the Senior AI Engineer.

Familiarize yourself with the relevant state of the art.

Keep thorough documentation of experimental results on the company’s digital platforms.

Communicate the critical outcomes of your experiments with peers and superiors.

Assist in technical tasks (data mining, data cleaning, and cloud setup).

Preferred Experience

Science and Engineering degree (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, etc.).

Minimum level: Bachelor's degree.

Desirable level: Ph.D. degree.

Previous experience: Demonstrable deep learning research experience.

Specific skills: Fluent in deep learning concepts and data science.

Expert in Python and deep learning libraries: PyTorch, Sklearn, Numpy, and Pandas.

Excellent English communication skills.

You are a team player that can communicate complex ideas to multidisciplinary teams.
