Description du poste :

For one of our project located in Ghana, we are actively looking for an Instrumentation Supervisor with hands on skills.
You team will be composed of one helper and one trainee.

Your duties will include:

• Make sure that necessary engineering, as-built and operation documentation required for maintenance and operation is in place and available for I&C team.
• Participation in pre-/commissioning (loop checks,C&E tests etc).
• Supervision of preparation and fulfillment of the specified works in terms of compliance with permit to work procedure and approved plan.
• Daily supervision and management of activities performed by I&C maintenance crew assigned to the site in terms of maintenance and repair of I&C systems.
• Prepare long-term and approve short-term plans for maintenance and repair of I&C systems.
• Control quality of the completed works review technical reports and closed work orders in the CMMS SAP.
• Assure continuous relevance between CMMS data and actual data related to I&C equipment accepted into operation. Initiate the timely update of data in CMMS when needed.
• Control timely verification, calibration and certification of the instruments and equipment of I&C systems.
• Record-keeping for I&C maintenance and repair in terms of non conformances with work permits, HSE requirements and other corporate standards.
• Record-keeping and analysis of all near misses and incidents related to I&C.
• Report to the management and HSE about all identified non conformances and near misses. Develop proposals on remedial actions.
• Make sure that safety measures are followed when I&C installations are maintained and operated.
• Organize inductions and knowledge assessments for the local maintenance staff in terms of maintenance and operation rules for I&C.
• Control stock-taking and record keeping in SAP PM for I&C.
• Assure adequate operation and maintenance of I&C equipment in hazardous areas.
• Preparation,development and approval of training plans, inductions and knowledge assessment plans, control of local staff assessments (including OJT).


- Hold at least a bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a math-related field.
- Have extensive experience working as an Onsite instrument engineer
- Must have troubleshooting skills

Excellent problem solving skills and an ability to think outside the box are essential, since you will be called upon to solve uniquely challenging problems.
