Solvay is a market leader in hydrogen peroxide, both in market share and technology. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is used mainly by the paper industry to bleach pulp. Its properties are also of interest to many markets, such as chemicals, food, textiles, and the environment.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The applicant should be able or will be expected to become familiar with following topics: 
●Transport Regulation (DGSA certification for all mode of transport), profound knowledge of UN test criteria for peroxygens products.)
●Familiar with the self-reactive and reactive properties of our products 
●Worldwide Product Regulations (REACH, REACHlike, Biocides, Cosmetics, Seveso, Products classification, Hazards communication, Explosives Precursors)
Practically, the applicant will be expected to use this knowledge to maintain regulatory compliance in respect of, product labelling, validation and generation of safety data sheets,  packaging approval and transport. requirements.
As well as providing advice on these subjects to internal customers, the applicant will be expected to support existing and new customers to ensure that they, in turn, are both compliant and safe in respect of the use of our products.
