Job Overview and Responsibilities:

The Kronos Expert provides both day-to-day support and participates in strategic planning and design of current and future applications to support all aspects related to payroll and time management operations within the network.  The successful candidate will provide proactive analysis, configuration, testing, implementation, auditing, training, and end-user support related to time and attendance applications for the organization. The role will recommend and lead process improvement projects along with implementing timekeeping best practices. There is a significant emphasis on maintaining system integrity while performing regular reporting tasks using Kronos reporting console. The position frequently interacts with Operations Management, Benefits, Payroll and the local site contacts. 

ResponsibilitiesMaintain both employee-level and company-level systems data to ensure compliance with company policies.Manage stakeholder relations, maintenance, and configuration of times rules, hardware and software maintenance, application performance monitoring and end-user documentation. Develop, modify and maintain Kronos application configurations including but not limited to:Maintenance of Pay Rules, Setup and maintenance of PTO accruals,Design, creation, and maintenance of system interfaces, Design, creation, and maintenance of WTK (workforce Time Keeping),Reporting interfaces. Design and configure attendance rules. Lead administration of Kronos applications and platforms, application maintenance and upgrades, licenses, and platform maintenance and upgrades.Provide technical resource support for ancillary HR application owners and HR initiatives. Create and technical documentation including requirements analysis, data flow diagrams, software/configuration specifications, operational procedures, and other related documentation.Execute Kronos application administration tasks, including system configuration setting, Kronos and associated software application administration, troubleshooting, and system maintenance Establishes schedules and performs time system daily maintenance, including resolving any system polling and posting problemsEscalation point for technical issues Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Workforce Management systems issues, and providing timely user support.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Human Resources or equivalent experience and five years ofKronos or similar time management systems with an understanding of time schedules and efficient scheduling for shift work in a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

Solid understanding of Fair Labors Standards
Experience with unions
Adept at manual and automated payroll processing, validating, and troubleshooting
Expert in Excel from pivot tables to formulas and reports
System Implementation Experience desired
Experience with SAP HCM, SuccessFactors or Employee Central needed
Experience with NGA desired
Strong ability to research problems independently and identify the root cause of issues
Demonstrated skills in working effectively across business or functional lines and partnering with the businesses and departments to meet objectives
Demonstrated ability to influence others
