Responsibilities

The candidate will handle end to end recruitment process and understand the full recruitment cycle. He / she will also help with the organization of campus events and work on employer branding initiatives in Canada. He / she will have regular contact with Canada Recruitment Advisors, which will provide an opportunity to gain market intelligence about different locations.

Responsible for the VIE recruitment in Canada, USA and South America under the guidance and supervision of VIE team Manager

·  determining staffing needs with hiring managers
·  creating job postings
·  screening resumes
·  identifying potential candidates
·  coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
·  performing and conducting phone interviews with candidates
·  making recommendations to hiring managers
·  following-up on the interview process status
·  coordinating recruitment activities and on-boarding arrangement - Collaborate with the VIE teams based in other regions including France, Luxembourg, UK, and Hong-Kong, etc: various projects, events, exchange of best practices, act as a backup, etc.

- Work with our visa vendor on visa applications for candidates

- Contribute to the development of Société Générale's employer branding by assisting the Campus Recruiter with the preparation of and participation in campus events in Canada

- Maintain accurate reporting of the activity and ensure SOP, HR documentation related to VIE process are up to date

- Work on transversal projects

Profile Required

The VIE in a nutshell

This VIE in Montreal is to begin in March 2020 but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com .

Your profile

You are graduated with a Master's degree in Human Resources or related subject.

You have a first experience in Recruitment.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel).

Knowledge of Investment banking industry and Taleo is a plus.

You are fluent in English and French.
