Responsibilities

Your role

The role of the Depositary is to act independent of the Fund board/Management Company to ensure they are managed appropriately in all material respects and to serve in the interest of the shareholders. Reporting to the Depositary Manager, the Depositary Administrator is responsible for overseeing first level controls regarding legal and regulatory compliance framework governing Irish and non-Irish domiciled funds.

You will form an integral part of the Depositary team structure working with your colleagues to achieve a common set of objectives. Previous experience in Depositary/Custody role desirable but not essential.

The job is interesting, varied and as part of your duties you will:

·  Preparation of invoices for third party administered Fund clients.
·  Assist with cash and stock reconciliations,
·  Assist with Net Asset Valuations (NAV) and pricing control reviews.
·  Prepare annual audit confirmations.
·  Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly client reports.
·  Ensure prompt escalation to management of any issues identified.
·  Contribute to the on-site (field work prep).
·  Participate in fund launch meetings.
·  Monitor compliance of funds under AIFMD/UCITS Regulations
·  Cash Flow Monitoring
·  Ownership Verification / Asset Inventory (property/loan origination Funds).
·  Other such tasks as may be required.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Dublin is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

Your profile

Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University, majoring in Finance.

You have a good level of English.

You have good command of Microsoft office applications

Desire to learn new skills with a continuous improvement attitude.

Be self-motivated with a structured and determined approach to work, and show a willingness to take ownership of problems and an ability to communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Previous experience or knowledge of financial industry (work experience, university module etc.)

Positive work ethic and commitment to see a task through to completion.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Problem solver, someone who will put forward new ideas.

Team player, someone who will interact with their peers and foster a positive working atmosphere.
