Responsibilities

A 100% owned subsidiary of European banking and financial services major Societe Generale (SG), Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) came into existence in 2000. Established as an offshore development centre in Bangalore, also having a presence in Chennai, SG GSC has 15 years of sustainable delivery expertise to its credit, and develops global best practices to promote the strategic objectives of the Societe Generale Group.

Profile Required

Conduct, own & deliver experiments and proof of concepts to validate different business ideas and potential value.
Design, development, evaluation and monitoring of predictive models and advanced machine learning algorithms that help business to drive decisions
Carry out data processing and analysis activities including statistical analysis, variable selection,
dimensionality reduction, custom attribute engineering, etc.
Leverage methods from diverse disciplines like machine learning, deep learning, statistical modelling, information theory, information retrieval and other areas to gain customer insights, draw conclusions and work with business partners to put those insights into action.
Test, troubleshoot and enhance the developed models in distributed environments to improve it's accuracy.
Work closely with business partners, technology and customer analytics teams to evaluate new and alternate data sources as well as computing paradigms and analytical tools.
Participate in data architecture decisions and partner with technology teams to implement models/algorithms in production systems.
Be part of a growing and exciting team and help document your assumptions, methodologies, as well as carry out validation and testing to facilitate peer reviews and independent model validation.
Facilitate integration with enterprise applications using APIs to enrich implementations.
Present and communicate necessary analysis and outputs to explain results and methodologies to non-technical stakeholders.
