The Test Automation Engineer (TAut) has the following responsibilities:

• TAut implements and automates test scripts representing the prior
designed test cases specified and reviewed with the Test Experts
• Implementation of test automation solutions based on API or UI-based
for End-to-End, Performance, Security Tests or any other so-called
–ility Tests (according ISO 25010)
• Create and bundle the single test automation scripts to a regression
suite
• He/she also takes care to setup and maintain the test (automation)
environment, i.e. reference configuration for the system under test
designed from the Test Architect.
• executes the automated test cases either as stand-alone test script
or execute them as part of embedded as regression suite applied to the
particular test execution environments by considering the rules defined
for the CI/CD approach valid for the different environment spaces
• reports on the outcome of the test case in the overall test mgt. tool
(e.g. XRAY) and creates a defect in case of failed tests

Prerequisites and Essential Functions

3 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing
• Experience in Java programming, needed for coding automation scripts in Selenium.
• Good knowledge of J2EE technology and design automation framework.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Automation experience in JUnit, Web Services and API Testing.
• Hands on experience on functional Automation tools like Selenium, Protractor.
• Experience developing with Core Java and J2EE technologies.
• Awareness of Basic Spring concepts.
• Experience in setting up and configuring test environments is highly preferred.
• xperience working in an Agile development environment, and participating as a Scrum team member.
• Hands-on working experience with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology, including unit testing, mocking, (like. Junits or Mockitos), functional and integration testing (e.g. Cucumber or Serenity), performance testing (e.g. Jmeter or Gatling), or negative or chaos testing.
• Expertise in HTML CSS JavaScript XML AJAX HTTP Angular and JQuery Implemented Keyword Data Driven framework Hybrid framework and advanced Framework BDD.
• Automating Angular JS applications by using Protractor Jasmine cucumber using Java script.
• Used Git and Git hub tools for maintaining the version controlling.
• Awareness of Basic Gradle concepts.
• Debugging Test Cases and Fixing errors.
• Experience using IntelliJ, Eclipse and Git.
• Ability to work in the Agile model with CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Industrial IOT domain / Industrial IOT software preferred (e.g. Thingsworks, Predix preferable)
• Microsoft AZURE / AWS knowledge preferred
• Complex problem solving
• Ability to diagnose & address application issues
• Written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate issues to all internal stakeholders and customers
• Degree in computer science / engineering or equivalent
