Mentor Siemens, the leader in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), is looking for a Technical Writer to join a cutting-edge team developing design tools for electronics engineers.

Use your technical background to maximum effect by developing real-world examples, tutorials, and multimedia content that assists customers in using Siemens products to accomplish goals.

In this role, you will:

•Work with the latest cutting-edge technology in Vehicle Networking.

•Develop task-based content that teaches customers how to get the most out of their embedded tools.

•Take a proactive role in working with the product team to research and identify use cases.

•Work collaboratively with geographically-dispersed colleagues on cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

•BS/MS or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

•2+ years of technical writing experience, supporting complex technical products.

(experience in a related field may be considered).

•Familiarity with vehicle network architectures, ECU communications/design and Eclipse-based IDEs, or related experience.

•Ability to come up to speed quickly on a new project and balance multiple tasks and competing priorities.

•Knowledge of task analysis and topic-based structured (DITA XML) authoring.

•Excellent written-English and the ability to write clearly and accurately is essential.
