Join our Project Management Internship Programme and the people behind our Power Generation Services Division based in Warwick. You'll get to know us from the inside, develop your natural talents on the job – and become a part of the teams shaping the future of power generation.

The challenge

Throw yourself into this 12-month rotational Internship Programme working with Siemens aero-derivative gas turbines based at our Iceni Centre in Warwick. You will undertake placements in a variety of project management settings designed to develop skills in PM@Siemens (Project Management @ Siemens), entry into service, requirements definition and managing resource constraints of cost, time, scope, risk and quality.

We'll create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your course. By the end of it you'll have experienced application of the theory equipping you for your professional career in Project Management.

·  Hands-on experience in an exciting and challenging global services environment
·  Learn/improve your business management skills through the support of major projects in Siemens AGT.
·  Collaborate with a variety of project managements functions in the execution of internal and customer facing projects.
·  Develop your knowledge of key support functions such as Project Management Office, Engineering, Supply Chain, Commercialisation and Finance.
·  Build your skills through training modules including PM@Siemens and Career Management
·  Be a valued member within a team of Entry Level Talent (Apprentices/Interns/Graduates) to participate in the business improvement projects. The scope of these projects will provide you with valuable team working and presentation skills.
·  Be an ambassador for STEM through a multitude of volunteering opportunities, such as Greenpower, Big Bang Fair and much more.
·  Seek out opportunities that will strengthen your skills and enhance your knowledge to continue to support the business and your career development path.

The candidate

Here's what it takes to join some of the world's brightest minds-

·  On track to graduate with a degree in a Business, Procurement or Project Management related degree
·  Are flexible, know how to connect with others and pride yourself on bringing positive, forward-thinking ideas to the team
·  Feel comfortable working and reporting at all levels of a multidisciplinary team
·  Enjoy jumping in and, with support from us, feel confident taking responsibility for tasks and projects you've been assigned
·  Have an eye for detail and know how to make the right call
·  Understanding of supply chain and procurement activity
·  Have some experience understanding the principals of a gas turbine operation, but it's not essential
