Must have Shipbuilding experience.
Works under self management within project and/ or task constraints and will determine solutions, methods and procedures on assignments/projects.
Provides guidance and mentoring to other architects within and beyond immediate project or program, on the architecture of multi -domain DISW solutions to other Services Solution
Architects and consultants globally. Participate in Global Solution Architecture Community of Practice, promoting adoption into the Zones and ensuring that knowledge and lessons learned are shared across Zone boundaries. Leverage relevant templates in the leadership of project
solutions in shipbuilding worldwide, and curate best practices and templates, providing mentoring in the creation and adoption of templates and solutions within the DISW Delivery Framework.
The principal Solution Architect is well experienced in the business requirements and processes of shipbuilding and with multiple DISW products.
Essential functions:
a. Confident to face customer and develop architectecture solutions
based on business requirements
b. Communicate with a high degree of creativity, self-confidence and
persuasiveness and exercise communication at various levels throughout
an organization
c. Present complex information and communicates with an effective
manner for a given audience
d. Leadership qualities to lead a group of consultants during a
software implementation.
PreRequsites:
a. Requires knowledge of Shipbuilding Industry processes and the DISW
tools to address business requirement
b. BS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering,
Computer Science, Technology
c. Multiple years implementing shipbuilding Design and Manufacturing
solutions
