Job Description

Winder ( Blue Collar Motor & Alternator Winder.

What are my responsibilities?

· 
Dismantling and re assembling of motors and generators

· 
Noting internal connection.

· 
Removing /extracting the old winding.

· 
Clean slot and remove burrs by filing.

· 
Inspect core for any damage

· 
Making new coils as per noted data.

· 
Insulate core slots with base paper as per class of insulation F/ H.

· 
Insert coils in the slots according to noted data.

· 
Making connection as per the noted scheme.

· 
Joint the connection by brazing.

· 
Make winding shape according to the noting details.

· 
Test the winding and compare its result with the noted parameters.

· 
Handover the wound stator for the impregnation.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· 
5 – 10 years' experience in a similar position

· 
Minimum Matric (Secondary school graduate)

· 
Certification from a Technical school beneficial

· 
Mechanical aptitude required
